Donor Assisted Reproduction

Learning that you or your partner does not produce viable sperm or eggs can be devastating. Receiving that news, it may feel like having a family is out of reach. However, that is far from the case.

Our team can help you understand and make the decision to use donor sperm or eggs, and will help guide you through the process from start to finish.

Donor Sperm

At Upscale Pro Angels, we believe that no couple or individual set out in life to be infertile. Circumstances beyond their control lead to such situations. As we have emphasized, over and over again, your problem is our problem. Like the Egg donors, we strive to get the best of sperm donors.

Our sperm donors must be between the ages of 21-30. They must be in a Technical School or University, aspiring to obtain, or must have, a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree. They must be of high IQ, decent looking, and most of all good health. After thorough screening of donors, we try as much as possible to match donors with recipients who have similar characteristics. Such as intellect, and physical looks.

Donor Eggs

Egg Donation allows prospective parents to choose a donor whose characteristics are similar to theirs (physically, etc.) The donor's ovum is fertilized with the sperm of the male prospective parent or a donor's (sperm) and transferred into either a surrogate or recipient mother. Our egg donors must be between the ages of 21 – 27, educated, intelligent, excellent health, and be committed and willing to help an infertile couple; but most of all, must be free of any sexually transmitted disease.
Egg donation is recommended for women who fall into one or the following categories:

  • Those who may have had premature menopause because their ovaries can no longer produce eggs.
  • Those whose ovaries have been removed as a result of cancer treatment, pelvic infection or must have undergone endometriosis.
  • Those who have a high risk of passing on genetic disorders such as hemophilia, sickle cell etc.
  • Those who do have recurrent pregnancy loss as a result of chromosome abnormalities.
  • Also, women with recurrent IVF failures, due to poor egg quality and poor response to stimulation by fertility drugs.

  • Gestational Surrogacy

A surrogacy arrangement involves a third-party female carrying a pregnancy for intended parents.

Gestational surrogacy (also known as host or full surrogacy, or gestational care) is where the intended mother or an egg donor provides the egg, and the intended father or a sperm donor provides the sperm. The resulting embryo is transferred to the gestational carrier, who then has no genetic connection to the child. However, the eggs are NEVER that of the surrogate mother.

The team at Upscale Angels Pro works with you to utilize a known surrogate, or to find a surrogate, to help create your family. Using a surrogate can be a complex and stressful process, but we are experienced in guiding patients through surrogacy, and we have the tools to assist you in navigating this option.

Traditional Surrogacy (Artificial Insemination): In this program, the surrogate mother donates her own egg for artificial insemination, making her genetically connected to the child. .... (Traditional Surrogacy) NOT AVAILABLE…...
